Sorenson reduces his role at Marriott as cancer treatment intensifies
Marriott International CEO Arne Sorenson is stepping back from his full-time duties for several months in order to undergo "more demanding treatment" for pancreatic cancer. Sorenson announced his cancer diagnosis and embarked on treatment in May 2019.
