Coronavirus Update New York City: MTA, restaurants would get billions under Senate stimulus
NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — The $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill passed by the U.S. Senate Saturday includes more than $6 billion in federal funding for the MTA. The struggling transit system has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement, MTA Chairman and CEO Patrick J. Foye said the funding is critical to bring back riders.
